But don’t assume that since the business is booming you can just place a banner ad and start getting customers to your web page. You need to do other things and take a few factors into consideration for the ad campaign to be effective. First you should remember that keywords will be the major gateway to success. You should select your keywords with care and you should have as many keywords as possible. You actually pay for having these keywords displayed and therefore you should have the keywords that will direct people to your website.

Having a good website will make your target customers take a moment to read the content and take action. You should make your site simple and user friendly. You should bare in mind the target audience before designing your website since the content needs to appeal to them when they visit your site. Lastly, you should write your banner ads in away that will make suffers take a moment to read them and click on them.

First thing you need to search is the keywords relevant to your product that you want to advertise. If you are not aware how to do that, you should type the keyword you think into the keyword suggestion tool that you will get with your account. This would list the number of searches made for that keyword and similar keywords that people have searched for. You may choose your keywords that you think are relevant to your product.

PPC service would allow you to put a price that you would like to pay per click, every time your site would be displayed for a particular keyword. This price is called bid and differ for each keyword depending on the bidding competition for that keyword. If competition is high you may be required to put a minimum price on keyword to enable it for display.

Depending on competition and your price bid your ad would be shown in sponsored ads at a position which varies again with price bid.

To rank high, you need to outbid others. But do not take that decision in impulse. If you bid too high, you may loose a lot before you see some profits.

You need to strike a balance between the money you pay and profits you make.

After you bid for keywords, you need to create advertisement. Some PPC services may want you to create an ad first. your ad should be enticing enough to click otherwise it would turn out to be ineffective.

You need to let the user know that your site is exactly what they’re looking for. Putting a keyword in the title and having a catchy, informative description would help.

More clicks you get, the more money you are likely to make.
